My 5-year-old actually managed to get this kite airborne on the first try, which never happens with our other kites. The wide wings kept it stable even when the wind was gusty, and the airplane design is just so charming.

The wings are really wide and colorful, which made it easy for my daughter to keep the kite steady on her first try. We flew it in a light breeze and it stayed up without much effort.

My nephew had no trouble getting this kite airborne on his first try—the wide wings really do catch even a light breeze. It glides so smoothly and steadily that he kept it up for almost an hour without it nose-diving. The colorful fabric looks just as bright in the sky as it does on the ground.
