My three-year-old can't get enough of the zoomed-in bird illustrations; she points out new details every time we read it. The way the book starts from a distance and then focuses on the trees and animals makes learning about the forest feel like a game.

The illustrations really do zoom in nicely from a distance to the tiniest details, my kids loved spotting all the bright birds on each page. Only wish it had a bit more text to explain what we were looking at, but the pictures alone keep them engaged.
