8 Little Planets by Chris Ferrie

My nephew can't get enough of the colorful planets and the simple rhymes—he's already memorizing which one is which. It’s a clever way to introduce basic astronomy without overwhelming a preschooler. The board book is sturdy enough for his eager little hands, too.

My three-year-old loves pointing at the planets and shouting their names, and the rhyming makes it fun to read aloud every night. The pages are sturdy enough to survive a toddler’s enthusiastic turning, and I’ve actually learned a few facts myself.
