Edward O. ★★★★★

The deadpan humor in this book is so perfectly Jon Klassen—my five-year-old spots the visual jokes long before the text gives them away. It’s quickly become our favorite bedtime story, and the hardcover binding feels sturdy enough for nightly rereads.

Scarlett ★★★★☆

My kid giggles through every read of this one, and the deadpan humor lands just as well for adults. It’s a bit on the shorter side for the price, but the illustrations are so charming that we’ve already read it three times tonight.
