The pegs are the perfect size for my 18-month-old's grip, and the pieces stay put on the board. I just wish the paint felt a tiny bit more durable, as it's already showing a scuff after a few days of play.

My toddler loves the bright colours on the animal pieces, but the pegs feel a bit too small for his little fingers to grab securely. It's cute and sturdy, though I wish each animal was a bit more distinct shape-wise to help with learning.
