Puzz & Match Rainbow by Djeco

My toddler loves stacking the pieces to make the animals, and the fact that you can mix and match parts between sets keeps her entertained for way longer than I expected. The wooden pieces are smooth and fit together snugly, so nothing wobbles or falls apart mid-play.

The wooden pieces have a satisfying weight and the stacking mechanism is clever enough to keep my four-year-old engaged for a solid twenty minutes. We've been mixing the animal halves to make silly hybrid creatures, which gets us both laughing.

My three-year-old loves figuring out which animal half goes with which, and the wooden pieces are sturdy enough to survive being dropped constantly. Swapping the heads and bodies between animals has kept her entertained much longer than I expected.
