The magnetic pieces click together satisfyingly, and the 8 design cards give my 3-year-old enough structure to start without being overwhelmed. It's rare to find a toy that holds his attention for more than 20 minutes.

My 2-year-old ignores most of her toys but plays with these magnetic wooden pieces for a solid 20 minutes. The 8 design cards help her match shapes, and I love that the 24 pieces are chunky enough for her small hands.
