My kids actually beg to play this at dinner, and I love that the scene cards show shades of emotion—like annoyed versus furious—so it’s more than just happy or sad. It’s sparked some surprisingly deep little conversations about feelings.

We played this at family game night and the different emotion cards really got even the adults talking about feelings. The scenes are detailed enough that my six-year-old kept finding new expressions to name.

My kids couldn’t stop describing the scenes on the cards, and it’s been fantastic for helping them put words to feelings like frustration or excitement. The way the game shows different degrees of emotion is such a smart feature.
