The rhyming text makes this so fun to read aloud, and the illustrations really bring the clever mouse's story to life. My kids love spotting the Gruffalo before he appears on the page.

My three-year-old asks for this every single night — the rhyming text is so fun to read aloud, and the illustrations have so many little details we keep finding new things to point out.
