موسيقى - طبل اللسان من فيلاك

Picked this up for my daughter's music lessons and the C major tuning makes it super easy for her to play simple melodies right away. The soothing, mellow tone of the metal tongues is even better than I expected.

I was skeptical about the tuning, but the C major scale with a full octave makes it surprisingly easy to just pick up and play a melody. The metal tongues ring out with a soft, almost meditative tone that’s much more soothing than I expected for a percussion instrument.

The metal tongues are surprisingly responsive even for a beginner like me, and the C major tuning makes it hard to hit a truly bad note. I just wish it came with a simple songbook to get started faster.
